About Alison Dodd Photography
I’m from Liverpool and photography has always been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I decided to create Alison Dodd Photography in February 2012, after working professionally with images since 1986 in both film and in digital format in the reprographics industry and digitally airbrushing all the top models from the young to the more mature for a well known catalogue company, and for many well known glossy magazines.
As a mum myself I love creating family portraits that will be treasured for generations. And in running my own business I also have an appreciation for how important photography can be for marketing.
I have comprehensive public & products liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance cover up to £5 million. I also hold a current enhanced disclosure and barring service certificate (DBS, originally called CRB).
My photography portfolio currently covers various styles of portraiture, which includes family, children, schools, graduations, commercial, headshots & event photography and most things in between :-) as I enjoy the variety. Please see my photography portfolio for examples of my work.

She is very welcoming on the phone, I felt like I’d know her for ages. Paperwork and contracts were sent quickly with no hidden costs or last minutes surprises. The kit is very professional as was the shoot but Alison manages to keep this informal and fun. As a freelancer I needed new business photos quite quickly, from my initial phone call to receiving my photos was 5 days, fantastic. The photos have already paid for themselves, after uploading them with an agency I had secured a new contract that day. Very happy.
