I cover a wide range of school and education photography, from nursery and primary school through to high school, sixth form colleges and universities and a variety of educational events, producing photography for prospectuses, websites, campaigns and school photos for parents/guardians.
Education Photography
I’m often commissioned as a school photographer to create promotional imagery for their websites and prospectuses. Working closely with the school, I ensure I understand the look and feel they want to get across and I make sure the images I shoot will be suitable for their needs. My photography includes children and young adults of all ages from nurseries, infants, juniors, high schools, sixth forms colleges and universities.
Infants at Primary School and High School
My style is reportage, I work as unobtrusively as possible, I take natural shots of the children just being themselves, capturing pupils and teachers in lessons, interacting, drawing, reading, playing games and sport, walking and maybe playing an instrument. I can capture both the teachers and children’s enthusiasm, their concentration and their laughter and friendship and even the smallest of details.
Juniors at Primary School and Primary Special Academy
When young children are engaged in activities they are so natural and generally forget about the camera and it becomes easy to capture some really beautiful images. Photography is an important part of a school and college’s image. The photos present on their website, prospectus and other printed materials can be the first impression newcomers may have of the establishment. With that in mind, it is essential to work as a school photographer with someone who understands how to capture the best aspects of the education environment.
Nursery to High School
Older children and young adults love to be involved. They are very media savvy so they easily understand what’s needed from them. Great images can help showcase the wonderful work your school is doing. Using inspiring pictures on your website and in social media campaigns can capture the imaginations of prospective parents. They can also impress at school inspections too.
With a passion for education photography and experience in the field, you can be sure of great results from your school photography session. I’m also often asked to cover a variety of educational events around the Liverpool and Merseyside region too.
High School
I’m a freelance photographer based in Liverpool and I cover areas around Merseyside, Wirral, Lancashire, Cheshire and the North West. From Liverpool, Southport, Formby to Chester, Warrington and all places in-between.

I can bring along my professional mobile studio to your school or business, which consists of a high key white background and two professional studio lights with umbrellas and set it up easily in an area of your school or college. I also offer outdoor portraits, which works well in the Spring, Summer and Autumn months.

I work alongside a professional school lab to produce products from framed prints, digital images, unframed prints and gift accessories for parents and guardians. The school photos can either be delivered to the school or direct to the students home address.
