Outdoor Family Photography in Liverpool & Merseyside
Have you ever thought of having a professional portrait of your family taken? Not the usual photos, where someone is missing, probably yourself, that’s taking the actual photo or someone with their arms stretched out taking a selfie, then only to find out someone has their eyes closed, pulling a strange face or even looking away. I’ve had many people say, “I wish I had a proper photo of a loved one” or “I’ve always wanted a proper family photo taken, as the children are growing up so quickly”.I’ve been in the trade over 36 years and I will give you my undivided attention, during the photoshoot. I’ll take lots of photos ranging from groups to individuals and will keep the younger members of your family entertained. I love working with all ages, but I especially love the fun, innocence and sometimes challenges of toddlers, babies and children of all ages. I have many tricks up my sleeve to keep their attention.Even the shyest of children or adults at the beginning of the photoshoot say “I don’t like my photo taken” then so often towards the end, I’ll get “can we try this pose or even this please” and we can have lots of fun together. I quite often hear “I’ve really enjoyed today, it was much better than I expected”, which is always refreshing to hear. I’m a mum myself, so I know the importance of going at the pace of the children, so we can stop for a snack, a drink or even a quick outfit change out along the way.I’ll always do a mixture of posed and also relaxed photos, which will bring the natural and fun characters out of the children.I can meet you at an outdoor location of your choice, maybe a local park with all the beautiful flowers or a city location with the Pier Head or Royal Albert Dock as your backdrop. We have so many scenic areas around Liverpool and the surrounding areas of Merseyside, I’m more than happy to recommend the locations that work best for portrait photography for the time of the year too.I’ll always have a back up date arranged with you in advance, just incase the weather takes a turn for the worst. Or quite often, if there’s only a few showers about that day, we can schedule it to avoid the rain on the same day. Don’t worry if it’s cloudy, as that’s ideal for portrait photography. After the photoshoot, I’ll go away and spend a lot of time professionally editing your photos. I also offer a range of photography products from digital images, pro lab prints and a variety of luxury frames, as I work along side an awarding winning professional lab, so you’ll be able to make up your own photography package to suit your individual requirements.I’ve several packages to cater for all occasions, whether it’s a special family occasion, maybe a birthday, an anniversary, a new addition to the family or even a forthcoming graduation, couple photography or an engagement. If you are interested in my style of photography and would like some more information. Let me know as many details as possible and a date if you have one in mind in the form below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I look forward to hearing from you again soon, Alison
