Family Photography and Life after Lockdown

Family Photography and Life After Lockdown

I think if there’s one thing that has come from lockdown, is that we have all missed our families ever so much and I’m sure we are all looking forward to life after lockdown. There are many family birthdays, special anniversaries and family celebrations that have all had to be postponed until a safer time. So why not celebrate a family re-union and have a family portrait taken to mark this special occasion. We have realised that materialistic things don’t matter and if there’s one thing that stands the test of time is a professional family photograph. As a mum, I realise the importance of photographing the precious stages in a child’s development and also capturing our older children too and how a family portrait is the best way to preserve those memories for generations to come.

Family Photography Life after Lockdown

I offer two styles of family portrait photography, location photography which is ideal for large family groups in the outdoors and I also offer mobile studio photography, for up to a maximum of five people in the comfort of your own home, more information below.

A location portrait uses natural daylight and can be in your favourite surroundings such as a local park, beach, city centre or maybe a family garden wherever you can relax and have fun. This will result in more informal photographs giving a more natural look to your portraits.  I can incorporate both family groups, individuals, couples and children together if you wish, so you’ll have a good range of photographs to choose from. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, then we could reschedule your location session for a different day, as I’ll always have a second date booked with you. Don’t worry if it’s cloudy as it’s great weather for portrait photography.

Family Portrait Photography

A family studio session for up to five people in the comfort of your own home. I use a professional mobile photography studio with a white backdrop to give a modern clean fresh look to your portraits. I require a minimum clear space of 2.5 metres x 3.5 metres to set up my studio equipment and white backdrop. I can incorporate both family groups and individuals if you wish, so you’ll have a good range of photographs to choose from.

From your portrait session, a selection of approx 35-50 professional edited images from you session would be uploaded to a private online gallery for you to view in the comfort of your own home and then you can choose a selection of photos you wish to order.

Family Photography Life after Lockdown Frames

If you prefer to order high resolution digital files, I can either create a CD for you or I can FTP them to you by using a cloud-based file transfer service, where you will be able to download your photos and save them to your own device.  If you wish to order professional lab prints, I work along side a professional lab that uses lustre Fuji DP2 professional silver halide photographic paper using inks with archival properties of more than 100 years.

I also offer luxury frames and albums. All of my photography products are hand-crafted and of the highest quality and have been hand picked by myself. My wall products are created by professional suppliers, ie. luxury frame, float frame or a fine art edge framed print (including clusters and splits). They start from £300, which is a substantial savings compared to well known high street photography studios as my prices are typically half of their price and all my products are of equal if not better quality. If you are interested in ordering a frame, I can bring along some sample products to your home to help your decision at your viewing session when it’s safe to do so, or you can view all of my products on my website. https://liverpool.photography/photo-frames-albums/  I also offer a complimentry visual design service (via email) which is ideal to view your chosen frame designs from your own home before placing your order.

Please take a look at my website for all kinds of information on family, children, baby and newborn, graduation and couples portraits. I’m often asked to cover a lot of family and commercial events too, with so many special birthdays and anniversaries cancelled recently throughout the lockdown period, it would be an honour to be asked to capture these special times for you and your family.

Also please check out my portfolios, for some of my recent work too.

If you like my style of photography and you have been thinking of having some professional photographs taken of your family, then drop me some information and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
